Format: Interactive Assembly
Length: 45–60 minutes
An energetic introduction to Africa as the starting point of Black history, featuring live drumming, dance, storytelling, and student participation.
🌍 From Africa to the Americas: Rhythm as Resistance
Grades: 6–8
Format: Assembly or Workshop
Length: 60 minutes
Students explore how African rhythms and traditions survived displacement and continue to shape Black culture in the Americas.
🎭 Living Black History Through African Arts
Grades: 9–12
Format: Performance + Facilitated Discussion
Length: 60 minutes
A professional African dance and drumming performance connecting African traditions to modern Black identity and cultural legacy.
