Our ARTability helps create a sense of independence,
personal growth and heighten self-esteem for children with disabilities through
their unique experience in African Drum, Dance and Art. To advance creativity
and strengthen our community, we educate and enrich the development of children
and adults through schools, organizations, senior centers, and collaborating
with other community partners. We create opportunities that provide lifelong
access and engagement while inspiring participation among people with
disabilities who do not or are not able to, particularly children. To
increase public awareness of the abilities and talents that people with
disabilities possess we infuse the love of African Dance and Drum.
ARTability provides an unparalleled opportunity
to celebrate the artist in everyone, and represent people with disabilities as
capable citizens who can make invaluable contributions to their communities.
